Competitions

Uxbridge Squash and Racketball Club offers all full members the opportunity to participate in internal leagues and competitions throughout the year.

Leagues

The internal squash league is played throughout the year typically over a five week period. Each league consists of five or six players of similar ability with a spread of players from beginners to team standard well represented.

Playing in the leagues is an excellent way for new members, who will be placed at a starting level similar to their ability, to get to know other players.

Contact squash@uxbridgesquash.org.uk for further information or to join (quoting membership number).

Racketball leagues will re-commence in the near future.

Summer team squash

This internal summer competition is an excellent way to become familier with team squash. It is also ideal for players with no interest in representing the Club at external squash league matches, but still enjoy team squash as well as new members wishing to get to know other players.

The competition is played each year commencing in June through to August with teams typically playing around 10 games.

Each team consists of four or five players graded to one of four levels. Each match consists of three games and players will play opponents of a similar standard. A handicap points system evens this out further to encourage close games.

Details of this tournament are published in May.
